Obituary of Rachael Marie Williams

Rachael Marie Williams, 73, of Lake Rd., Conneaut, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at UH- Conneaut Medical Center. Rachael was born the eldest child of Paul M. and Rachael M. (DiLallo) Guglielmo-Williams on September 10, 1942 in Conneaut. She graduated from St. John High School Class of 1960 and received her major in English and Psychology at Youngstown University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree. Rachael became a social worker, and eventually a job’s trainer and supervisor with Job and Family Services and had over 30 years of service. She loved reading, writing, and was very up to date with current events and politics. Rachael enjoyed being involved with her father’s political career. Rachael held a strong Catholic faith, she was a member of Corpus Christi Parrish and attended St. Frances Cabrini, until her health prohibited her from going, she continued to watch mass regularly on television. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and cherished the time caring for her parents. Miss Williams is survived by her three siblings, Paula, Natalie and John Williams; niece Jennifer Spink; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and beloved family cat “Noah.” She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Mary and Joseph Guglielmo-Williams and Frank and Florence DiLallo. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 744 Mill St, with Rev. Father Philip Miller, celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Conneaut Memorials in memory of Rachael may be given to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 345 Main St. Conneaut, is honored to serve the family.
