William Paul Leonardson, Jr., 54, of Ashtabula died Sunday, November 27, 2016 unexpectedly at his home. He was born on August 29, 1962 in Ashtabula to William P. Leonardson, Sr. and Sheila (Pinney) Leonardson- Fitzer.
He loved gathering with his friends, working on his truck and cooking among other things.
He is survived by his two children, Cody (Alaze Anderson) Leonardson of Jefferson and Crystal (Michael) Johnson of Andover; five grandchildren, Savannah, Chase, Riley and Grace Johnson, and Ariana Leonardson; four brothers, Tracee (Cheryl) Leonardson of Ashtabula, Kelly (Beth) Leonardson of Conneaut and Christopher and Chad Fitzer of Ashtabula; sister, Judy Fitzer of Ashtabula. He spent the last 11 years of his life with his companion Mary Lou Trent of Ashtabula.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sheila Fitzer; stepfather John Fitzer; and his grandmother, Edith Leonardson.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Thompson Smith Nesbitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 345 Main St., Conneaut.
