Obituary of Dale Weber

Dorset- Dale Weber, 59, longtime area resident passed away at his home on Thursday, February 23, 2017. Dale was born on February 15, 1958 in Ashtabula the son of Okey and Marcia Weber. He graduated from Conneaut High School and the Joint Vocational School in 1976. Dale married Vicky Oliver on May 28, 1977 in Kelloggsville. He was employed by Wayne Dalton until his retirement in 1996. Dale was an excellent athlete in high school where he played football and wrestling. He enjoyed listening and watching his music and video collections. Above all else he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Dale was a very giving man and was the first to lend a helping hand. Dale is survived by his wife, Vicky A. Weber, whom he loved dearly; sons, Jeremy and Eric Weber; sisters, Donna (Mark) Moore and Kathy Moore; brothers, Okey (Vicki) Jr., Terry and Timothy (Melissa) Weber. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, George and Belva Weber; maternal grandparents, Owen and Margaret Hansen; and a son, Michael Weber. A memorial service will be held, Friday, March 3, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the Conneaut Church of God, 5327 Center Rd. (RT 7). A calling hour will be held from 11 AM until time of services at 12 NOON. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family. The Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 345 Main St. Conneaut, is honored to serve the family.
