Carolyn (Alger) Parker, 57, of Conneaut, went to join her family in heaven following a brief battle with cancer on April 28, 2017.
She was born April 27, 1960 in Conneaut, the daughter of the late Eugene and Irene (Vidugiris) Alger and had been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Edgewood High School. She worked for many years at Premix, now known as A. Shulman in Kingsville.
Carolyn is survived by her life partner of 17 years, Gordon Stevens, and their cat, Shelby; son, Mark E. Thompson; sisters, Michelle (Harold) Titus, and Mary (Dave) Joslin; step-daughter, Kristie Stevens; and two nephews, John and Justin Titus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Mike and Mark Alger; and sister, Margaret Alger.
Carolyn loved her family above all and would do anything for them. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the APL.
