Ashtabula- Nancy L. Brockett, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2108 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on February 26, 1952 the daughter of James E. and Dorthy (Cushman) Brockett. She graduated from Conneaut High School, Class of 1970. Nancy enjoyed scrapbooking and taught many classes. She was also an avid doll collector and had over 300 at one time. Nancy enjoyed watching criminal minds. Above all else she loved spending time with her family, especially her son , David. Nancy is survived by her husband, Chuck Clemens; daughter, Melissa (John) Arcaro; son, David (Veronica) Eaton; step-daughter, Charlene (Ken) Lewis; grandchildren, John Michael Arcaro and John John, Kyra and Brook Lewis; and her sister, Brenda (David) Vasti. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James "Jimmy" Meaney; grandson, Nathan Evans; and her sister, Karen Brockett. A graveside service will be held, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family in care of the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, which is handling arrangements.
