Obituary of Kenneth W. White

North Kingsville- Kenneth W. White, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in the presence of his wife and children.

He was born on February 25, 1938 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey the son of Kenneth A. and Mary (Cornelius) White. Ken graduated from Rock Creek High School Class of 1956. After graduating from high school he sailed a short time on the ore boats before enlisting in the United States Navy. Ken was a contractor and employee for many telephone companies throughout his career and retired in 2000 from the Conneaut Telephone Company. He  was a member of the I.B.E.W Union #673 and a former member of the Rock Creek United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, woodworking, traveling and visiting lighthouses. Ken was very fond of his cats and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Marie White; children, David G. (Laura) White and Greg K. (Kathryn) White, both of Ashtabula and Janet A. White of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Andrew (Stacy) and Nicholas (Amanda) White; and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Madilyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Mary Patricia   McQuown.

A graveside service will be held, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00AM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, with Pastor Terry Simpson, of Gageville United Methodist Church, officiating.

Memorials in memory of Ken may be given to the St. Jude's Hospital, an organization he held dear to his heart.
