Obituary of Daniel Lee Ramsey

Conneaut- Daniel Lee Ramsey, 30, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 21, 2019. He was born on March 18, 1989 to Doreen (Thompson) and John D. Ramsey, Jr. Daniel was most recently employed with Harbor Industrial Corp. in Conneaut. He was a member of the Conneaut Community Church. Daniel will be remembered for being a loyal and loving friend. He loved hanging with his niece, nephew, family and friends. They will never forget his great sense of humor. Daniel was also very close to his brother and sister and was always there for his mom. He also loved listening to music and enjoyed rapping. Daniel also spent time watching wrestling, the Pittsburgh Steelers and going fishing. He is survived by his mother, Doreen Ramsey; brother, John E. Ramsey; sister, Kristen (Timmy Wilson) Ramsey; grandmothers, Dawn Ramsey and Dorla Thompson; great-grandmother, Mildred Markle; niece and nephew, Zarenidy and Timmy Wilson; aunts and uncles, Harry Thompson, Jr., Carl and Missy Thompson, Vera and Dale Smith, Eric and Debbie Ramsey and Stephanie and Aaron Blanton; and many extended family members and dear friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, John D. Ramsey, Jr.; grandfathers, Harry F. Thompson, Sr. and John D. Ramsey, Sr.; great-grandparents, Larry Markle, Mabel Thompson and Carl and Vera McCumber. A memorial service will be held Friday October 25, 2019 at 7PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where friends will be received one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Daniel may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
