Sandra J. Prouty, 67, of Harbor St., Conneaut ,passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 15, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 25, 1947 in Conneaut, Ohio to Gordon R. and Estelle A. (Arkelin) Wilson.
Sandra had been employed with Brighter Horizons Residential Services as a caregiver. She was a very caring and giving person. Sandra loved fishing, camping, playing bingo and making others laugh.
She is survived by her children, Jackie Armeni, John Armeni, Brian (Tonya) Rippons and Tina (Ian) Paden; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Darlyene (Kerry, Sr.) Brisley, Patty Ann Schnell and Lorrie (Scott) Felix.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick Armeni; brother, David Wilson; sister, Jodi Carlotta; and a brother-in-law, George Schnell.
A memorial service will be held on her birthday, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Conneaut Township Park. Further details will be announced this summer by THE THOMPSON-SMITH-NESBITT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 345 MAIN ST., CONNEAUT. She will be inurned at East Conneaut Cemetery, with her son.
