Conneaut- Lillian Purdue, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at UH-Geauga after a brief illness.
She was born on October 5, 1944 in Erie, Pennsylvania the daughter of Clifford and Lila (Maki) Taylor. Lillian graduated from Strong Vincent High School Class of 1963. She loved selling Avon and worked for the Astatic Corporation. Lillian was a faithful church goer and was always assisting with her husband, Rev. Leonard Purdue's ministries.
She was very musically inclined and loved to play the accordion and trumpet. Lillian enjoyed collecting Barbie Dolls and Zebra's. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Purdue is survived by her children, Peter (Jaclyn Green) Purdue, Daniel Purdue, Lenna Purdue, Eric (Heather) Purdue and Seth Purdue; grandchildren, Cassian Purdue, Deon Grant, Austin Snyder and Michael and Matt Whitfield; and her sisters, Gertrude (Doug Duer) Taylor and Sally (John) Burdick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Rev. Leonard Purdue; and a sister, Mary Garver.
A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 11:00AM at City Cemetery in Conneaut.
