Duane A. Wright, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on September 19, 1960 in Conneaut the son of George D. and Esther Mae (Fortney) Wright. Duane attended Conneaut High School and later attended Kent State University. He had been employed with Lukjan and General Aluminum before taking a disability. In his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball and spending time outdoors. Duane enjoyed camping and four-wheeling. He also rooted for the Cleveland Browns. Duane is survived by his children, Amber Wright, Aleasha (Marshall) Hanshaw and Dylan Wright; granddaughters, Aaleayah and Brooklyn Gardner; sisters, Barbara Loepp, Lois Williamson, Debbie (Mitchell) Storozuk, and Melanie Wright; brothers, Kenny Wright, Donnie (Linda) Wright and George (Tita) Wright, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents George D. Wright, Sr. and Esther Mae Wright; brother, Merle Wright; and sisters, Shirley Douglas, Judy Wright and Janice Thomas. Private family services were observed.
