Conneaut- Ann Lynn (Sheehan) Seline, 84, passed away August 14, 2020 at UH-Ahuja Medical Center in Cleveland.
Ann was born on December 30, 1935 in Conneaut the daughter of the late Paul and Constance (Sands) Sheehan. She grew up in Conneaut and was a 1953 graduate of Conneaut High School. Ann graduated from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland in 1957 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse during her professional life. Subsequently, she married, Eugene A. Seline on February 2, 1960 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Conneaut and was a housewife raising and supporting three children. Over thirty years of her life were spent in Germany where she worked part of the time as a secretary for the Department of the Army. She also enjoyed the local European culture, traveling, reading, and supporting community activities. Ann spent her retirement years in Conneaut and was active in her church and as a member of the local historical society.
She will be remembered as a kind, helpful, and talkative soul. Ann possessed generosity, kindness, and a one-of-a-kind spirit. She embraced the future with optimism for all that was ahead of us.
Ann is survived by her husband, Eugene; their sons, Eugene and William of Conneaut, and Paul (Alexandra) of Germany; niece, Catherine (Bernie) Graney of Hoosick Falls, NY; nephews, Robert (Elizabeth) Gee of Natick, MA, and Christopher (Beth) Gee of Avon Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandra Marie Gee; and a nephew, Thomas Gee.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 5 to 7 PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:00AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 744 Mill St., Conneaut. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
