Obituary of Sharon Louise Johnson

Sharon Louise Allshouse Johnson, 69, of Conneaut Ohio died September 1, 2020 at her home. Sharon was born July 22, 1951 in Cheyenne Wyoming to Robert and Norma (Specht) Allshouse, while Robert was serving his country in the United States Air Force. Sharon was married to William F. Johnson, Jr. Sharon spent her entire life in Conneaut. She attended St. Mary's school and Saint John's High School and graduated from Conneaut High School in 1969. She worked for many years at Rainbow Cafe. Sharon was the one that introduced them to Stromboli, which couldn't be found in any local restaurants before that time. She also worked at Orlando Bros. Grocery Store. Sharon loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Her cherry cheesecake dessert was her trademark and she brought it to all family gatherings. Being the oldest of eight children she was an excellent caretaker and "Big Sis" which was a nickname given to her by her siblings. She enjoyed her music and her pets and keeping in touch with her extended family. Sharon also loved spending time at the camp in Tidioute, Pennsylvania. Sharon is survived by her husband William F. Johnson, Jr.; her beloved parents Robert and Norma, who she devoted a great deal of time to; six brothers and sisters, Michael and spouse Cheryl, Daniel and spouse Anna, Rex and spouse Vicki, Beth and spouse Joseph Weber, Bobby and spouse Kali and Janet and spouse Joseph Hayes; brother-in-law, Eric Johnson; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her youngest sister Rebecca L Allshouse Cassidy. Sharon will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 12NOON at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut with Pastor Jan Walsh Officiating.
