Sincere condolences to Dick and family
Sandy had the such a big heart! She had a kind and giving spirit. She will be missed.
Sandy was a family friend from the early years when our families returned to Conneaut after serving in The USAF.
More recently since the pandemic she has dropped off jigsaw puzzles to me several times. Because if there was a chance to be kind a chance to be a friend she was first in line with a smile!

My heart kinda just sunk when hearing that she passed away. Just talked to her on the phone maybe 4 months ago. I met Sandy when I was 20 years old and my first thought was " what a character"! She cracked me up with the things she would say and the faces she would make while saying them.
When I was pregnant with my first child at the age of 20.......... I was in the backseat of her car, we were heading to the Air Force commissary to go get some "really good deals". We stopped to get gas , long story short after smelling the gas I immediately got nauseated and didn't get down the road far before I told her she had to pull the car over~ after getting sick on the side of the road...........she told me in good ole' Sandy fashion " what were you doing sticking your head out of the window huffing those fumes for anyway"........... as she laughed.
A friend of the family and my personal friend for over 40 years. Whenever I saw her out in her yard doing something, I would have to stop by and say hi and chat with her~~ visa-versa ! Shared in my children's births and weddings <3 Where did all the years go? What a blessing to have been her friend and to have known her my entire adult life. There will always be ONLY one Sandy! One of a kind! Special woman! She will always hold a special place in my heart. She will be so missed!
To Dick and her family I send my deepest sympathies. If there is anything that you need at this time please do not hesitate to call me. I am keeping you all in my closest thoughts and will be lifting you up in prayer.

My first memories of sandy were as my bus driver. My name was definitely "Mud"! Later in life, I was blessed enough to see Sandy regularly while working at the Conneaut Plaza Theatre. The Christmas parties at her house were events I looked forward to every year and I am so fortunate I got to spend time with her and her family during those years.
Sandy will be deeply missed and the world is a lot less fun, and loud ;), without her.
