Obituary of Charles Ray McCroskey

Charles Ray McCroskey, 89, of Montezuma, died Thursday November 6, 2014 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana.
He was born April 24, 1925 in Welford, West Virginia to George W. McCroskey and Dessie (Bird) McCroskey.
Mr. McCroskey was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Montezuma Christian Church.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, George and Jack, and four sisters, Myrtle, Roseanna, Genevieve, and Geraldine.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Merritt McCroskey; son Eugene Ray and Michelle McCroskey of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Susan Ann Cordova of Tennessee; brothers, Harold of Kingsville, Ohio and William and Laura of Alabama; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and calling hours will be held in Montezuma, Indiana on Sunday, November 9, 2014. In addition, a local service will be held, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut at 12 NOON, with burial to follow at Gageville Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday, November 13 from 10 A.M. until time of services at 12 Noon.
