Monroe Township- Wells Lloyd Ross, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on May 22, 1933, in Conneaut, Ohio the son of Ernest Lloyd and Elsie D. (Wheeler) Ross. Wells was a United States Army veteran serving stateside during the Korean Conflict. He married the love of his life Rosemary Deiter on November 1, 1951 at Stateline United Methodist Church.
Wells was employed as a plant manager for the former Allied Resins and worked in the plastics industry most of his career.
His family will remember him as the strongest person, always working two or three jobs, and he `worked hard providing all his family wanted and needed. Wells enjoyed helping his family and was there for his kids and helped build their homes. He enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and loved to travel. He looked forward to trips and vacations with his wife and family, together they made it to 46 of the 50 states.
Wells is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosemary Ross; children, Deborah (Pat) Kernohan, William (Laura) Ross and Tammy (Perry) Kennedy; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rhea Csepegi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Freda Thompson and Marcella Moyer.
Private family services were observed. Burial took place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials in his memory may be given to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Road, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
