CONNEAUT- Viola "Lola" C. Baringer, 89, of Conneaut, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Villa at the Lake.
She was born the daughter of William L. and Irene H. (Luoma) Wallace on March 7, 1925 in Ashtabula. Lola graduated from the Harbor High School Class of 1942. She painted figurines at local Houston, Texas department stores and worked as a cost accountant at White Consolidated for a number of years. Lola was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Cowle Post #151. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting and writing poetry.
Mrs. Baringer is survived by her children, Terry (James) Pabody of Conneaut, Holly Pindras of Chicago, IL and R.L. (Denise) Johnson of Conneaut; grandchildren, Bethanie (Kris) Cox, Matthew Pindras, Joseph Pindras, Kassie (Chad) Lewis and Katie (Jeremy) Lamson; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Rory, Raelyn and unborn twins Kaia and Kyna expected to be born in November.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Art. Baringer in 1991; and two sisters, Polly Meschko and Ethel Cook.
A private celebration of life will be held in her memory.
