Obituary of Jodi Rae Carlotta

COVINGTON, KY- Jodi Rae (Wilson) Carlotta, 53, passed away after a courageous battle of cancer on, September 25, 2014, in Bromley, Kentucky with her family by her side. Jodi was born December 19, 1960 in Conneaut, the daughter of the late Gordon and Estelle (Arkelin) Wilson. She had lived in Kentucky for the last 20 years. Jodi worked at Queen City Barrels before she became ill. It was there she met her best friend Mike Carlotta, who was by her side during her battle with cancer. She enjoyed her little dog Morgan and her Bird Roy. Mrs. Carlotta is survived by her best friend Mike; son, Joseph (Karen) Fusco of Lake City, PA; daughter, Irene (Chris) Culley of Maineville, OH; sisters, Darlyene (Bill) Brisley and Sandy Prouty both of Conneaut, Patty Schnell of Elyria and Lorrie (Scott) Felix of Springboro, PA; and her grandchildren, Devin and Julian and Taylor, Mercedez and Bailey. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Wilson, and her parents. A brief Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 876 Grove St., Conneaut, followed by a gathering of friends and family in the church fellowship hall, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the CLYO, PO BOX 215, Conneaut and APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula.
