Obituary of Denise Schor-Morris

Boulder, Colorado- Denise Schor Morris, 58, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Sky Ridge Medical Center in Boulder, Colorado.
Denise was born on September 20, 1963, the daughter of Joseph and Delores (Jerauld) Schor. She graduated from the Conneaut High School Class of 1981. After graduating, she attended Youngstown State University, Dana School of Music, where she received bachelor’s degrees in music education and elementary education. Denise taught briefly in the public schools before enlisting in the United States Army in August of 1988, where she served with the 101st Airborne Division Band. She served alongside Conneaut native, Blaine Godfrey. Denise would serve six months and seven days in combat status during Operation Desert Storm. She would remain with the National Guard until 1995 and was the NCO in charge of the Wyoming National Guard Jazz Band.
Denise thoroughly enjoyed being a mom to her dear son Cody. She also loved pets and drag racing her Mercedes R500.
Denise is survived by her son, Cody Morris; siblings, Diana Spencer, JoAnne (Greg) Morris, and Richard (Debra) Schor; dear friend and father of her son, Carl Morris; and a niece and several nephews.
Graveside services will be observed, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00AM at Center Cemetery.
