Obituary of Brenda Golden

Brenda M. Golden, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at UH-Geauga Hospital with her sister at her side. Brenda was born on September 11, 1955 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of Lyle and Clara (nee: Swartz) Knauff. She graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1974. Brenda worked for several area factories and retired from General Aluminum. She married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" E. Golden on August 5, 1978, whom she knew she would marry the first day she saw him and immediately told her mother. Together they enjoyed going to area restaurants. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and loved barn quilt paintings and other art projects, and both belonged to the Conneaut Arts Center. Brenda was also a member of the NARVE #043. She is survived by her husband, Bob Golden; sisters, Sandra (Richard) Railsback of Venice Beach, Florida, Lyla (John) Carr of Rockhill, South Carolina, and Connie Knauff of Conneaut; niece, Heather (Bill) Izzi of St. Marys, Ohio; nephew, Chris (Jackie) Wiley of Conneaut; great-nephews, Jacob Wiley and Max Izzi; and other dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be observed.
