Obituary of Joanne M. Biedrycki

Monroe Township- Joanne M. Biedrycki, 68, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2024, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center, after a brief illness. Joanne was born on October 3, 1955, in Conneaut the daughter of Luke A. and Helen E. (nee: Rhodes) Stough. She graduated from Conneaut High School Class of 1974 and enjoyed organizing the class reunions for many years. Joanne found the love of her life, William A. Biedrycki, and they were united in marriage on July 13, 2001, underneath the willow tree at their home. She was a member of the of the Eagles Auxiliary Lodge #408 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #151. Joanne loved relaxing on the front porch waving at those going by and waiting for the hummingbirds to visit. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, traveling and going to the casino. She never met a stranger and loved to converse with anyone willing to chat. Joanne cherished the time spent with her family and dearly loved her grandkids and great-grandchild. She is survived by her husband, William Biedrycki; children, Cathy (Scott) Mackert, Richard (Angel) Hannold, II, Sonya Taylor and Joseph (Megan) Biedrycki; grandchildren, Luke Jones, Destiny Hannold, Hunter Blankenship and Elaine Biedrycki; great-grandson, Jaxin; sister, Darlene Stough; sister-in-law, Melanie Stough; nephew, Nathaniel Stough; and her beloved cat, Minnie. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Stough. A gathering of family and friends will be held, Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1PM-4PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut.
