Obituary of Matthew Scott Bunnell

Matthew Scott Bunnell, 43, of North Las Vegas, NV, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 27, 2013.
Matt was born in Conneaut, Ohio, on January 14, 1970. He attended West Main Elementary School while growing up and was active in CLYO sports, playing t-ball, baseball and football. In high school, he discovered that tennis was his sport and enjoyed his time on the courts. He graduated from the Conneaut High School, Class of 1988. He continued his love for tennis throughout his college years. Following his graduation from Hiram College in 1993, Matt took his marketing skills to Hawaii, Arizona and finally in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was the marketing director for several establishments.
Matthew was a member of Good Shepherd Luther Church while residing in Conneaut, serving as an acolyte and communion assistance.
He is survived by his parents, Cheryl "Bodie" and James "Mick" Poff; sister, Molly (Tony) Todaro; brother, Daniel Poff; grandmother, Barbara Poff; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Matt is preceded in death by his father, James Bunnell; grandparents, Robert "Tim" Manniko, Ruth Manniko Cain, Robert Cain and James T. Poff; and a nephew, James Daniel Poff.
Graveside services will be held, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Glenwood Cemetery, W. Main Rd., Conneaut, with Rev. Franklin J. Gore, officiating. Memorial gifts in memory of Matthew may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Phase II Building Fund, 876 Grove St., Conneaut or CLYO Scholarship for disadvantaged children PO BOX 215, Conneaut.
